I tried first time Korean food and I must say I liked it. I ordered plant-based Bulgogi and Tofu Kimbap. I loved that that they have a dedicated plant-based menu (Vegan) with so many options Will be coming back. Server was also super nice, she recommended the best dishes.
Their Rose Tteok-bokki is amazing. Good portion and filled with such a variety of yummy things. Included in the spicy yet creamy rose sauce is a fried dumpling, both cheese filled/stuffed and regular Tteok bokki rice cakes, wide noodles, fish cakes, and green onion. They also have a Ra-Bokki option which is essentially Tteok-Bokki but with ramen added! Super satisfying. They should sprinkle cheese on it and it would be even more epic! It’s warm, gooey, chewy delightfulness.
Went few days ago and thought I do some takeout tonight so my vegan friend can try and it was a huge hit. Very yummy food selection. The worker named Bella was so kind and sincere. Very hard worker who had ensured my order was ready for pickup exactly at 715pm. The owners are very blessed to have staff like her!!! Definitely will be back!
The flavors were great! Each plantbased dish was perfectly seasoned and brought out the true essence of the Korean cuisine!!
This place has the best kimbap in Vancouver! Their jjamppong and mala tteokbokki are amazing too. The staff are really kind, and even their green onion kimchi tastes great. Highly recommended:)
Really enjoyed our lunch at #CHIBOP. No wait for a table of 6 on a busy Sunday afternoon and the food comes out fast. Great spot to eat w kids. Memorable dishes: octopus soup (mild). The soup was big enough to feed 2 kids and 1 adult and has Lots of veggies, octopus pieces and noodles. The Best part: the kids goobled it up. The cheese balls (comes in 3s) are fried mochi balls filled w cheese and dusted w a sweet cheese powder. This appy is worth trying also a kid favourite. The kimbap very fresh and big portion. The fried chicken is crispy and not greasy. The half portion was a good portion to share. There’s a fun peach carbonated drink that the kids enjoyed. The drink comes in a see-through can. The food is flavourful and delicious. Very satisfying
I had an amazing experience at Chibop! The food was incredibly fresh, well-seasoned, and full of authentic flavors. Every dish tasted homemade in the best way, like something cooked with real care and pride. I have to highlight the kimchi — it was honestly exceptional. Perfectly fermented, super flavorful, and not too salty or too spicy. You can tell they really know what they’re doing. It might be some of the best kimchi I’ve had in Vancouver, and it totally elevated the entire meal. The portions were generous, and everything was served hot and fast. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. The place is clean, cozy, and has a really welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Chibop to anyone looking for great Korean comfort food. 100% worth the visit!
